All About Me

Born in Kansas and raised in Las Vegas, Hridi Bhakta has always had an eye for the small joys in life. It’s a mindset shaped by her upbringing and a trait she looks for in the people she keeps close. When she’s not with family or friends, she’s usually watching classic films, working on arts and crafts, shopping, or out on a run.

Hridi is majoring in Public Relations at the University of Oregon. With a passion for helping people and building meaningful connections, she hopes to apply her skills after graduation in the sports, film, or healthcare industries.

At UO, Hridi is the Event Coordinator for the South Asian Cultural Alliance (SACA). She has planned three big events, with attendance for all three exceeding 50+ people. Along with her classes, she works at the Student Success Center in the SOJC. She takes great value in the connections she makes, so being able to connect with other students who have similar interests greatly excites her.
