Faces

This photo is of my high school photography teacher who made the biggest impact on my life. With her guidance, I fell in love with film photography and capturing moments with a flash. Not only did she teach me the basics, but she taught me that there are no specific "guidelines" and "rules" for photography. It's about what you feel in the moment and how you want to capture it, and what you can do afterwards during the editing process. I came up with this photo as a final project. Its a mix of faces. I want it to represent the common person, everyone is going through things whether they are happy or sad. Everyone has different faces.

This is a creative campaign that I and three other peers from my Creative Strategy class developed. I served as the Account Director. As a team, we created a series of posters, TV scripts, collaborations, and social media content for our campaign. The main premise was to promote Depop. Our reasoning was that fast fashion has recently taken a significant environmental toll, and we should appreciate the older, more vintage styles we have access to. An additional benefit is that passing down clothing to someone new after you’ve worn it is also environmentally conscious.
